Photometrics discovery investigation identifying epics, user stories and strategic decision points for management of complex, Philips Lighting specific data elements
Set up and ran twice weekly Product Data Governance review meeting with key stakeholders, initially to cover SAP to STEP field mappings, but expanded scope to cover all inbound data modeling challenges
Worked with external suppliers (Stibo, TASS) to develop detailed technical specifications
When Ed's initial contract at Philips Lighting ended he secured a switch to the business deployment project team, focusing on user acceptance and business processes
Led Business Validation and User Acceptance Testing, including facilitating two full UAT rounds with and implementing cross-team issue triage process to ensure UAT findings were actioned
Business Process Expert representing Lighting for both Digital Asset Management and Product Information Management; helped convert process flows / detailed requirements into specific use cases
Documented Business User Guide / Data Model based on business discovery sessions and solution designs
Detailed cross-reference of business expectations from solution to IT deliverables in order to identify and communicate gaps to senior management. Proposed mitigation strategies to remedy situation
